For motorised vehicules and Bikes
Once you have proceeded through
the SeaFrance check –in and cleared all security checks you must proceed to your allocated
lane.
n.b. Please note normal road laws still apply in both the Port of Calais and
the Port of Dover. We therefore advise you to pay particular attention speed
limits within and around the port.
When you are requested to move from your lane please carefully follow the
directions given by our loading staff.
Travelling with a vehicule
A crew member will instruct you where to
park on the vehicle deck. Please leave your vehicle in first gear and put the
handbrake on.
Please take everything with you that you will need on
the crossing as passengers will not be permitted to enter the vehicle decks
during the crossing.
Travelling with a bicycles
From your park line, you will be directed to the ramp leading
to the car deck of the ship. At this point, you must get off your bike for
safety reasons! Please comply with instructions from SeaFrance member of
staff. Leave your bike in the place indicated to you (for security and
safety reasons, you will not be allowed to access your bike during the
crossing). When leaving the ship, be very careful on the car deck!
Travelling as a foot passenger
Please follow all directions given by our travel centre staff. They will
direct you towards the Embarkation point to await our shuttle bus
service.
